Falasarna Beach restaurant guide! Falasarna is one of the most stunning beaches in Crete. It’s more accessible than some of Crete’s other top beaches, like Balos & Elafonisi. This makes it a better choice for families. It also offers more accommodation options, and, of course, restaurants!

The food in Crete is unreal, and Falasarna has some excellent restaurant options, many which also feature stunning views. Falasarna is located on the West Coast of Crete, meaning it’s an ideal spot to catch an epic Greek sunset. Keep reading for my short guide on best restaurants in Falasarna!

Zacharias Tavern

Delicious, local cuisine. This restaurant is located in Platanos, a small village right near Falasarna beach. This was one of my favorite meals of my entire Greece trip. The moussaka was amazing!

Taverna Spilios 

This casual tavern features stunning views over Falasarna beach. This is an amazing spot to catch the sunset. The food is also amazing, I had the Spilio Special and loved it.

Taverna Vassilis

Oceanside tavern with many seafood options, and lovely views for the beach. The chicken souvlaki was unreal here, one of my favorite meals of my trip!

Adam Restaurant 

Casual beachside tavern, serving Cretan food in a low key setting. Great for a late lunch after the beach!

Bird Away Beach Bar

Beach bar with epic sunset views, great for a casual meal!

Playa Paraiso

Another great beach bar option on Falasarna with a large patio and outdoor bar, would recommend this place more for the drinks than the food, but is also a good place to grab a snack!

Where to Stay Falasarna Beach

If you choose to stay in this area of Crete you won’t have a ton of options, this area is a bit quiet and gets very sleepy at night! But it’s also an amazing place for sunset views, easy access to the beach and a quiet relaxing getaway!
