For luggage, I absolutely love my Away carry on & my Away Large Checked Bag. They are pretty expensive ($295 for the carry on & $375 for the checked bag large) you can definitely find Amazon dupes. Given how much time I spend travelling the cost is worth it for me (they have a lifetime warranty) but if you only travel a few times a year the Amazon Basics are a good option (see links below) The carry on is $63 and the checked bag is $105
For a carry on personal Item I have a Dagney & Dover bag that I also love, it fits so much and makes organizing my life so easy! This bag is also expensive (although I get my money’s worth with how often I use it!) I have the large Landon Carry All (it was $215) There are some good Amazon linked dupes here as well! This Amazon dupe is from Fit & Fresh and $50

Prefacing this with the fact that photography is new for me! Building a website and writing blog posts is way more in my wheelhouse, photohraphy is something I’m still learning, but over the last 2 and a half years I do feel like it’s becoming more natural finally!
My Go To Camera
In September I splurged for a new camera (something I’ve been researching forever) After tons of Googling I went with a Fujifilm X-T5 Mirrorless Digital
I love, love, love this camera but it’s pricy! There are great, cheaper options on the market that take amazing phots if this one is out of your price range or not worth it for the amount you’d use it
Favorite Affordable Camera
If you’re looking for a great mirrorless camera (the best option) that doesn’t cost a fortune, the Canon EOS R100 with a 18-45mm lens can be bought at Amazon for $450
Canon’s are super intuitive and I had a Canon Rebel T5 for years that was my first real, non iphone camera. I definitely found the Canon easier to get used to overall than the Fuji and the price point can’t be beat if you’re on the fene about how much you’ll use it
Best Action Camera
My GoPro has been with me on many adventures and has survived them all! I love using my GoPro for water adventures particularly!
I’ve brought this GoPro to the Blue Lagoon in Iceland, snorkeling in the Dominican Republic, waterfall chasing in the Azores & more!
I have an Older version of the GoPro, the Hero 10 ($200)and it works great for me, although GoPro is now on version 13 ($450), so if you’re buying a new GoPro I’m assuming you’ll want to go with a newer model than the one I’m using! A 12 will cost you $319 and offers more features than the 10
You’ll also want to purchase an accessories kit, they’re fairly cheap and no matter which adventure you’re bringing your GoPro on you’ll need an accessory like a selfie stick, tripod, floating device, helmet attacher,etc!
