Williamsburg is one of the funnest neighborhoods in New York City and one of the best areas to go out outside of Manhattan. Williamsburg, Brooklyn sits directly across the East River from Manhattan and offers some of the best skyline views anywhere in NYC, so you can find awesome, spacious rooftops, but it’s also home to cozy wine bars, clsasic dive bars and more. There are so many great bars in Williamsburg it can be hard to narrow down, but here are my 13 favorites!

Best Rooftop Bars Williamsburg
The Water Tower Bar
I loved this rooftop spot at the Arlo Hotel. The historic water tower just adds to the overall vibe. The susets and Manhattan skyline views are unreal. This place starts off as chill and gets rowdier as the night goes on.It’s all outdoors.

Westlight
Westlight is the bar on the rooftop of the William Vale hotel is visible form anywhere in Williamsburg, and the rooftop views do not disappoint. The rooftop has two floors, a lounge style cocktail bar/restaurant & an open aired “Turf Club” rooftop bar that’s open seasonally. For Westlight, I’d recommend a reservation. They have an indoor section, so it’s open year round.

Bar Blondeau
A buzzy rooftop cocktail bar on the roof of the Wythe hotel. You definitely need a reservation for this spot. This place is mostly inside, but they have a few coveted outdoor spots for nice days.

Juliette
This cute French Bistro style restaurant/cocktail bar was one of my favorite spots. While its rooftop won’t provide stunning skyline views like the 3 bars mentioned above, this spot was still such a vibe. It’s garden-style feel felt like a cool escape from the city.

A trendy, menu-free wine bar in Williamsburg. A cute, intimate spot if you’re interested in letting the bartender choose wines for you!
DOC Wine Bar
A cozy Italian wine bar, they have a cute patio when it’s nice out or this spot is great in the winter for a warm, old-school feel.
Domino Wine Bar
Another cozy wine bar in Williamsburg, this small spot only has about 5 tables and some bar seats.

Rocka Rolla
A fun, dive-y spot that serves beers in large chalices. Great casual option.
Alligator Lounge
Free bar pizza with your beer? This casual spot has everything – karaoke, pinball, & pool.

Radegast Hall & Biergarten
A lively, Bavarian themed beer hall with steins, pretzels, schnitzel, live music & more.

Bembe
A lively cocktail bar has dancing, troplical cocktails. It;s lounge-y early and then gets a bit more wild as the night goes on

Best Bottomless Brunch Williamsburg
Ainslie
Bottomless brunch is one of my favorite things in NYC (and something we need to bring to Boston ASAP) Ainslie is a cute spot in WIlliamsburg with tons of greenery and light, plus an amazing menu. Bottomless brunch is usually unlimited brunch cocktails witht the purchase of a meal (usually a 2 hour time limit)
