Best Slice Shops
Lucia Pizza – SoHo
My absolute favorite slices are from Lucia Pizza. I literally could eat this pizza every day. My favorites are their classic cheese and their white spinach pizza (unreal) They also have vodka pizza, pepper & musroom, a cherry pepper, pepperoni and Mike’s hot honey slice & more. Do not skip this spot!

Joe’s Pizza Broadway – Midtown (and other locations)
A classic, but hard to beat. Joe’s on Broadway (and many other locations across the city) does not disappoint. This no-frills slice spot is always busy, and in addition to being famous for it’s delicious slices, was also where Peter Parker worked as a pizza delivery guy in Spiderman (with Tobey Maguire) and is featured in the movies. I’m a sucker for their classic cheese, but they have all the options!

L’Industrie – Williamsburg
L’Industrie is my favorite pizza in Williamsburg. There’s line here at all times of day so be prepared to wait, but it lives up to the hype. These slices are unreal and are made with only the freshest ingredients. They feel slightly thicker (but not too thick) than a typical New York slice. Their classics are a the L’Industrie pie – Prosciutto & burrata slice, the New Yorker Pie – mozzarella, pepperoni, sausage & ricotta slice, I also love their classic burrata slice.
Mama’s Too – West Village
This spot is becoming famous via Instagram & Tiktok and it was worth the trip for me. Most of their slices are square. These thick slices are delicious and dripping with toppings. My favorites were the vodka slice, cacio e pepe & the buffalo chicken.
They also serve unreal Chicken Alla Vida and Cheesesteak sandwiches. I know we’re talking pizza here, but these are also can’t miss.

Krispy Pizza- Brooklyn
Another spot recently gaining tons of Instagram popularity is Krispy Pizza in Brooklyn. This spot is serving up all types of delicious slices & their hyper popular “pinwheels” essentially rolled dough calzone-style pinwheels with buffalo chicken and other flavors.
My favorite slices are spicy vodka, pesto slice, & their Grandma slice.
They also serve a full menu of pastas, salads, sandwiches and wraps.

Best Sit Down Pizza Restaurants
L’Antica Pizzeria Da Michele NYC – West Village
L’Antica Pizzeria Da Michele is a world-famous Neapolitan pizzeria. This famous Naples pizzeria started as a small show that only sells Margherita or Marinara pizzas and now has locations all across Italy and some in the US, including the West Village. For classic, authentic Neapolitan pizza (the best type of pizza, IMO) this spot is it.
Definitely make reservations here in advance! In addition to pizzas they serve salads, pastas and mains, but my reccomendation will always be the pizza!

John’s of Bleeker Street
Infamous pizza place with a famous “no slice” rule. This popular spot is busy and you’ll likely need to wait, but it will be worth it. This is one of the most classic pizza spots in the city. Their pastas are also decent and their garlic bread is insane!
My favorites are the Boom Pie (tomatoes, mozarella, ricotta, garlic & basil) & the Jimy Gambino (mozarella, tomato sauce, sausage, ricotta, basil, green peppers)

Una Pizza Napoletana – Lower East Side
Another spot for a great Neopolitan pizza. These remind me of some of my favorite pizzas in Italy. This spot is tough to get into, it’s small and your party cannot be largr than 4 people. Reservation highly recommended (they open on Resy two weeks in advance) They take some walk-ins but a line forms before they open & a lot of times they run out of dough for walk-ins. This spot is popular!

Ace’s Pizza – Williamsburg
This hidden gem in Williamsburg has the best Detroit-style pizza. The vodka meatball and cheeseburger pizza are insane. This spot is also just such a vibe, great spot to grab some pizza and beer on a lazy afternoon. I loved this spot.
Grimaldi’s Pizzeria – DUMBO
Grimaldi’s is another New York classic. Their brick oven pizzas have been a staple for years in DUMBO. Their location under the Brooklyn Bridge is iconic in itself. This spot is old school with red & white checked tablecloths & wine bottle chandeliers. Their Brooklyn Bridfe Pizza (roasted red pepper, ricotta and sausage) or traditional cheese are my two favorites.
