The Ultimate Divi Aruba All Inclusive Review
Aruba is my favorite Caribbean island I’ve visited. The beaches, sunsets and weather were unbelievable! My entire family loved this place, not all of them love to travel as much as me, but we all agreed we didn’t want to come home after our trip. We stayed at the Divi All Inclusive for seven days and absolutely would recommend (and are still trying to coordinate our trip back)
I should preface this by saying I’m a huge all-inclusive person when it comes to tropical vacations! I think paying for almost all of your vacation ahead of time and not worrying at all about how much dinners are going to be or if you can try all the frozen drinks at the hotel bar to see which ones are your favorites makes for the ultimate vacation. The Divi is one of the only all-inclusive hotels in Aruba, and we had heard a ton of great things about it from friends who had visited Aruba and stayed there, so it made our hotel decision fairly straightforward.
And we could not have been happier with our decision! Keep reading below for my full review on the food, bars, beach, amenities and rooms!

Location
Located on Divi Beach on the West Side of Aruba. The resort is close to the airport & the downtown area where cruise ships dock. This area has a lot of shops and restaurants, as well as the I Love Aruba sign (if you need to get your picture) We were told by one of our tour guides who grew up in Aruba that Divi beach is known for having the best sunsets in Aruba, and I can confirm they were incredible.
The Divi is a bit south from Noord, where you’ll find a lot of the larger resorts, as well as another downtown area with a bunch of restaurants and bars. Getting around Aruba is easy, whether you rent a car or take taxis, it’s a small and accessible island. Plus, the best part of staying at an all-inclusive is you really have no need to leave the resort unless you want to!
Food & Drinks
There are tons of food options included in your stay. Staying at the Divi also gives you full access to their sister resort, the Tamarijn restaurants (a 15ish walk down the beach, or get there via hotel run shuttle) There are buffet options for casual dining, as well as bar pizzas (trust me, these are amazing) and sandwiches/bugers/etc at several of the bars.
There are also a variety of sit down restaurants! You can make reservations for these with the front desk starting two days in advance. Some of our favorites were the Red Parrot for seafood and steak, Pure Lime for Mexican fare, Paparazzi for Italian favorites, and Ginger for Asian cuisine! We liked almost everything we tried during out trip. You can check out the menus here:

Drinks are also included in your stay! There are tons of frozen cocktails to try (our favorites were the Coco Loco and the Aruba Ariba) as well as a full service bar. The bartenders were super attentive and friendly & we never waited long to get a drink! Check out their full specialty cocktail list here: http://qrco.de/bbcdFA
Included Amenities
We were here for relaxing and the beach, so to us, the top amenity was absolutely the gorgeous beach literally steps from your room. But we did also take advantage of the freshwater pools, the fitness center (it’s easier to workout with that ocean view) + we played some shuffleboard & tennis. There are also upgrade options for golf & the spa!
Paid Activities
If I’m being honest, my top recommendation is to sit on the beach and enjoy the insanely perfect views & weather, but we did venture off the resort for a few activities! Guest Services can help you book any excursion you’re interested in. We did a UTV tour around the islands to the Natural Pool, rented jet skis, and rented a car for a little self tour of the island!
UTV Tour:
I will start by saying this is not a leisurely tour. If you’re a nervous driver I do not recommend this tour. You are really off-roading and driving your own UTV down some treacherous seeming hills made purely of rocks. We had a blast, but we saw others on our tour who were definitely very anxious! Also, I didn’t have to do the driving!
It was a great way to see the island, and to learn a bit more from a local tour guide. The natural pools were beautiful, although, swimming in them was not for the faint of heart or a novice swimmer! The waves were coming in hard, and the rocks were super sharp! This is the tour we took it stopped at a bunch of places & they picked up and dropped off from our hotel directly!
Jet Skis:
Perfect activity for a fun and quick adrenaline rush! The hotel can set this up for you and get you transferred to a beach where you can jet ski! The rentals are usually 30 minutes and we found that was plenty of time!
Renting a Car:
We rented a car and drove around the island to some of the main downtown areas for some shopping and also checked out some of the other top beaches on the island, like Baby Beach & Arashi Beach. Both were nice, but we found the beach at the hotel nicer and probably wouldn’t have gone through the effort of venturing off the resort to the other beaches if we had known. Luckily, everything is a quick drive on the island so we didn’t spend too much time travelling!
Rooms
There are many room options at the Divi. We opted for a cheaper room since we spend so little time there. We had a garden view room with two queen beds. It was spacious, the bathroom was large and renovated and despite having a garden view room we were less than 20 steps from the beach! For us, there was no need to splurge on an upgraded room.
When to Go to Aruba
In terms of the weather, there is essentially no bad time of year to go to Aruba. There is very little rain, it’s always warm, and it isn’t impacted by hurricane season. Your choice really comes down to how much you want to pay, as the seasonality impacts hotel room prices.
Winter – Hotel prices peak during this time (I mean who doesn’t love a tropical winter getaway) but you’ll pay for the perfect temps at this time of year
Spring/Summer – Hotels prices will sink during this time, as it is the off season for most hotels, and the weather might be a bit hotter than the winter, but it’s a great time to find deals on hotels you might not normally be able to afford!
Fall – Fall is another great time to visit Aruba, although you’ll see hotel prices start to creep back up again as you get deeper into the fall and peak tourist season arrives again!
Divi All Inclusive Cost
We paid $700/night 2 person garden view room (non holiday week) in the winter- drinks and food included!

We’re looking to stay at this resort in Feb 2024. When did you write this blog? Do you still recommend it.
I do! My family and I are trying to plan a trip back in 2024 as well!
do the divi garden rooms have a close proximity to the beach and what beach is it? Is it Eagle Beach or it’s on beach?
I am trying to book my honeymoon in October 2024. When I contacted a 3rd party booking service they stated only breakfast was included free for this “all inclusive” resort. Looking at the resorts direct web page it seems to me like the food and drinks at the restaurants are all free (no prices on the menus). I feel like if I book this directly through the resorts web page that I will indeed get the all inclusive, free food and drink package, but want to be sure before I book. Can you confirm, and direct me on how I could confirm? Any help is appreciated!
Does the divi have night entertainment and what is it?
We are planning on being at Divi on 4/28/24 for a week. We have tried to get a restaurant reservation on the internet for 4/28, but a message comes back that there are no vacancies. I truly hope when we get there the hospitality desk can get us a reservation. This is a birthday trip and it would be very disappointing if we couldn’t eat at the resort
we had no problem you just book at the front desk!
I’d go through the hotel directly, it was definitely all inclusive!
We had a garden room, the beach was less than a minute walk..It’s on Divi beach
Thanks for sharing; we will be there in September and your review has made me feel much better after having read some negative reviews about the accommodations at Divi Aruba All Inclusive.
Thanks for sharing: we will be there in September, and you review has erased all concern about some of the negative room reviews.
Thank you for your review. You answered a few questions for me. We are seniors and like to have a few drinks in our room. Any suggestions where to get alcohol if we don’t have a car? Also coffee and tea in our room? Thanks
Hi, I’d reach out to the hotel, but usually at an all inclusive you can get alcohol to the room same with tea/coffee!
