The Location

Domes of Corfu hotel is located on the West Coast of Corfu, where many of the most popular beaches and resorts are located, also, where you’ll catch some of the best sunsets in Corfu.

The hotel is conveniently located about 15-20 minutes from the airport, so it’s easy to get a taxi or drive if you’ve rented a car.

Glyfada Beach is a popular resort area, but there is plenty of beach to share with stunning mountains as the backdrop to the coastline. You’re also conveniently located near some of the most popular spots on Corfu’s west coast like:

  • Paleokastritsa
  • Porto Timoni Beach
  • Agios Spiridon Beach
  • Agios Gordios Beach
  • Agios Georgios Beach

The Amenities

Domes of Corfu has no shortage of amenities to offer for its guests! It’s tempting to just spend your entire trip at the resort (although I highly recommend exploring Corfu!) I’d definitely dedicate at least a day or two to enjoying the hotel amenities.

The Beach

First and foremost, the private beach is unreal! There’s tons of space, lounge chairs & umbrellas. The beach is sandy and there are great waves for surfing. There’s also a bar right on the beach for grabbing drinks!

The Pool(s)

If you’ve had enough of the beach, Domes of Corfu also has multiple pools with ocean views. The large main pool is perfect for families, and the nearby adults only pool is great if you’re looking for a more quiet, relaxed atmosphere.

The Spa

The on-site spa offers a variety of massages, facials and other treatments. They focus on treatments utilizing the rituals & methods of the Ancient Greeks. You can find the full spa menu here.

The Gym

If you’re looking to get some exercise in during your trip, Domes offers a fully equipped gym on site.

Concierge

The on site concierge is willing to help you book any adventures you want to enjoy during your time in Corfu. Work with them to set up watersports, renting a boat, taxis to Corfu Town, advice on places to see, etc.

The Food & Drinks

Domes of Corfu has several on site restaurants and bars for you to enjoy during your stay. Despite spending most of my days exploring the island, I ate most of my meals at the resort except for a few lunches.

Agora

This buffet style restaurant is where breakfast is served every morning. Breakfast was included with my room, but always check when you’re booking! The buffet offered everything one could look for in a breakfast buffet – fruits, yogurts, vegetables, cold cuts, breads, eggs, bacon, an omelet bar & more!

I also had several dinners at the Agora, the large buffet offers a rotating menu each night. There are plenty of choices from salads, fruits, veggies, cold cuts, several mains, a variety of sides, breads and desserts. Some vacation packages include meals, otherwise you can pay about $50 for the buffet dinner.

Spianada

For casual beachside meals during the day, head down to Spianada, the large, open-aired food court is located right on the beach and near the pools. They serve a variety of cuisines in a casual setting. You can grab pizza or a sandwich, or try their ceviche, sushi or poke bowls and enjoy your meal overlooking the ocean!

Topos

A classic Greek fish taverna located in the most stunning part of the hotel right along the ocean. This a la carte restaurant is a great place to book a sunset meal, especially if you like seafood!

Frourio

Frourio is an a la carte restaurant that serves mainly Italian food. Corfu’s cuisine was heavily influenced by the Venetians and this restaurant is a great example of the fusion of Mediterranean cuisines.

The Bars

Domes of Corfu has three bars for your pre or post dinner drinks.

  • NKALERI Lounge Bar – Offers live music, an outdoor patio with epic sunset views & creative cocktails
  • Ammos Beach Bar – Located right on the beach and next to the pool, this is an excellent place to grab a cocktail and enjoy the stunning Glyfada Beach.

The Rooms

Domes of Corfu has a variety of rooms for couples & solo travelers, as well as larger rooms for families. Many of the rooms offer stunning ocean views, but you can save if you choose an inland view.

The rooms are large, all have balconies, and have all the amenities you’d expect from a 5 star hotel. This hotel also offered a series of complimentary gifts – water, wine traditional gifts (I was there for Greek easter) They also offer room service if you prefer to have a chill evening

Head to their website here to view the room types and book!

The Cost

I visited Corfu the second week in April, which is considered shoulder season in Greece. It is right before the summer crowds arrive & the costs shoot way up. It’s a great time to travel because the weather is still warm, but costs are still low! I paid $484 for three nights, so about $160 a night, which is so cheap for such a nice hotel!
