Zermatt is one of the most stunning villages in the Swiss Alps, and is home to some of the best skiing and snowboarding in Europe. Zermatt is one of the only places where you can ski year round. It’s heaven for winter sports lovers. Zermatt also offers great après Ski options. As the lifts and gondolas close for the day, Zermatt town is bustling with fun after ski bars. I had so much fun exploring all of Zermatt’s best apres ski bars (for research 🤣)
There’s an après option for all vibes – chill, mountain views, live music, DJs, rowdier late night spots & more!

Harry’s Ski Bar
Best Overall
Harry’s is a classic Zermatt après spot. This small patio gets packed as the lift closes. The vibe is lively, and the party carries on into the night. If you’ve never been to Zermatt you have to swing by Harry’s at least once during your trip!

Papperla Pub
Best Late Night Option
If your’e looking for more lively/rowdy and a less casual vibe, head to Papperla Pub. This dive bar gets packed for apres, and the party carries on late into the night They have a mix of live bands and DJs throughout the night.

Cervo Mountain Resort – Après Ski
Best Aesthetic
The absolute cutest après ski spot in Zermatt is the terrace at Cervo Mountain Resort. They have ureal views, DJs as the slopes close, and the cutest decor. This spot is right at the bottom of the slopes before you head back into Zermatt town, so it’s a great place to end your day. Also, unreal sunset views!

Hennu Stall
Best on-mountain Après
Hennu Stall is another Zermatt classic. It’s located on the bottom half of the Furi-Zermatt slope, so you can ski there. It’s also a 30 minute walk from downtown Zermatt if you’re on foot. This place gets busy and rowdy as the slopes close. They have a live band and a DJ usually. They open at 2PM and close on the earlier side around 8:30.

Champage Bar
Best Views
This cozy spot has the absolute best views of Zermatt. It’s small, but gets super lively. If you can grab a seat facing the mountain it’s an unreal spot to see the sunset (very similar view to the infamous Zermatt viewpoint)

Snowboat Bar
Best for Après + Food
Lively, cozy, great food, cold beer & good music. Snowboat is a great après option in Zermatt. The burgers are the perfect way to end a long day of skiing!

Bar 55
Best Upscale Option
If you’re looking fot a more lounge vibe for your après ski, Bar 55 is a great option. Think couches for lounging, cozy fire places, fancy cocktails, pool table, with a lively, but chill atmosphere.

Zermama Bistro
Best Casual
A casual, cozy bar with a heated outdoor patio. This spot was the most quiet and laid back if you just want to relax with a glass of wine to end your day!
