North Conway New Hampshire is one of my favorite mountain towns in New England, it’s a great place to visit for outdoor lovers in any season. It also has a bunch of great bars, breweries and pubs if you’re looking for something to do after a day of exploring, hiking or skiing. Here are my top recommendations!

Shannon Door
Best Overall
My favorite spot in the North Conway area! The Shannon Door offers live music, amazing bar pizza & an overall chill atmosphere. It’s technically in Jackson, a small town about 15 minutes from North Conway. Highly recommend heading here!
Sea Dog Brewing Co.
Best Late Night
Another great spot! Sea Dog has a large bar, is right on the main strip of North Conway and tends to stay open a little later than other spots in the area! They usually have live music on the weekends

Red Parka Pub
Best Live Music
A North Conway classic! Red Parka is a long time favorite for anyone visiting North Conway, Red Park has great food, and a fun bar with live music on the weekends. They stay open later than other places (around 11:30 on the weekends)
Horsefeathers
Best Apres Ski Spot
Another North Conway classic, Horsefeathers is right in downtown North Conway across from the train station. It’s a great place to grab an afternoon or pre-dinner drink after a long day of exploring! It’s super close to Cranmore for an apres ski bev or three!

Ledge Brewing
Best Brewery
Ledge is one of the best breweries in the North Conway area. This spot is super laid back, they recently started serving tacos! (beer and tacos you can’t go wrong) When the weather is nice, the patio area is super nice & there is live music!
Wildcat Inn & Tavern
Wildcat is another fun spot in Jackson not far from the Shannon Door. It has a cool vibe, like an old ski lodge. They also have live music there on the weekends. Check their hours before you go, they tend to change often in my experience!

Moat Mountain Brewing
Best for Families
Another great brewery in the North Conway area! Moat is a brewery and BBQ restaurant and is super popular. If you want to go at night during busy season you should definitely try to get a reservation or plan on a wait!
Omni Mt. Washington Hotel
Best Drinks with Views
The Mt. Washington has several different bars. My favorite is their outdoor terrace when the weather is nice! In the winter, it’s definitely a better experience in the summer, but if you go in the winter try thr Cave Bar!

The Library Lounge at Stonehurst Manor
If you’re looking for more upscale cocktails there’s not as many options in North Conway, but you can’t go wrong with Library Lounge at Stonehurt Manor. A classic cozy spot with martinis andother great cocktails!
