Lofoten Islands Norway was one of my very favorite trips. This remote area in Northern Norway is not necessarily a foodie destination, there aren’t an overwhelming amount of restaurants options, but I did find some good spots on my week there. I’ve compiled my 15 top recommendations by town below to help you find the best spots to eat near where you’re staying!

A cozy spot in downtown Lofoten, Digg serves burgers, fish & chips, lamb and other hearty comfort foods. This place also has a cool bar and a downstairs lounge/club. It was one of the only real options for nightlife I saw.

Lille Milano Pizza

A simple Italian spot in downtown Leknes. They have a sit down restaurant, but I grabbed a pizza to go and brought it to watch the sun set over the mountains. 10/10 recommend

Norway has an amazing cafe culture, and Lofoten has some great bakeries/cofee shops. Lofoten Bakeri was one of my absolute favortites, the cinammon roll was unreal!

Another cozy cafe in Lofoten that I loved! Great spot to hang on a lazy morning!
